Aera from Bodywork with Aera here! I wanted to do something a little different today. So here's a poem. I hope you like it!
In a world where empaths roam so free,
Their hearts are like a vast, tumultuous sea.
They feel the joys and pains of all around,
But in massage therapy, solace can be found.
With gentle hands and touch so kind,
A therapist's care, to the empaths' mind,
Brings respite from the emotional tide,
In the quiet room, they begin to confide.
In the dim-lit chamber, a sanctuary's embrace,
The empath finds peace in this sacred space.
The therapist's fingers, a soothing balm,
As they work away the pain and calm.
The empaths, so sensitive to every soul,
Their own emotions take a heavy toll.
But in the hands of a healer, they discover,
A path to self-love, like no other.
The weight of the world, the sorrows they bear,
In the hands of a therapist, it all becomes rare.
As muscles release, tensions dissolve,
The empaths find their worries resolve.
In the dance of energy and healing touch,
Empaths find relief, their hearts don't clutch.
For massage therapy, a gift from above,
A refuge for empaths to rediscover self-love.
So, to all the empaths, let it be known,
In the world of massage, you're not alone.
Your feelings are valid, your pain, too,
But with healing hands, there's hope anew.
In the tender rhythm of each caress,
Empaths find their inner storm at rest.
For massage therapy's an art so sublime,
A ballad of healing for empaths, in time. Written by Aera Barnette, LMT
